LORCOM is built on its own safe hardware with a powerful and energy-efficient NXP processor, an Arm® Cortex®-A55 core and advanced industrial-grade security. The gateway runs a reliable Linux system based on the Yocto Project.

Bidirectional LoRaWAN communication is provided by an 8-channel module based on the new generation Semtech® SX1302 chipset, which offers higher sensitivity and significantly lower consumption.

Network Server (NS) - Integrated NS allows to function as an independent unit that is able to forward decoded data to the BMS via MODBUS, MQTT communication. It also offers easy integration with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

The Gateway can also work as a PACKET FORWARDER, that connects to any external NS (e.g. The Things Stack, ChirpStack, AWS) which ensures efficient device management and seamless data integration into end applications.

Description

The Gateway is designed for indoor use with its small, compact dimensions and can be powered via LAN (PoE) or an external power supply in the range of 15-30V DC. It supports active and passive PoE.

Support for new device - End-device support is handled through flexible configuration files, which in most cases eliminates the need for firmware modifications. Users can use pre-built configurations or easily create and customize their own to meet specific device requirements. The solution is fully compatible with the ChirpStack v4 JavaScriptcodecs that manufacturers commonly provide as part of their LoRaWAN device support.

Integrated web server - for simple gateway setup, access via a unique name on the network.

Support for 1000 LoRaWAN elements – the gateway is designed with its performance and capacity to serve 1000 elements on a LoRaWAN wireless network.

Real-time backup - The Gateway includes an exceptionally long-life supercap for real-time backup that ensures accurate time for at least 72 hours even during power outages.
